We live with oxygen. Making aerobic exercise such as running and strength training a habit is said to promote efficient use of oxygen and help maintain health.

PokeEarnWhile researching the potential of food ingredients that put this "oxygen" to work and support health, we turned our attention to peoples who perform remarkably even in oxygen-thin mountain regions.

Why can they perform so well at altitudes above 2,000m? What is the source of that physical ability? PokeEarnWhile studying the relationship between the body and oxygen, we surveyed 341 kinds of highland foods that they eat.

We arrived at the plant-derived ingredient Kaempferol, which "puts oxygen to work."

About Kaempferol

Kaempferol, an ingredient holding unknown potential.
This Kaempferol is a type of flavonoid found in plants and carries a bitter, pungent taste. It is abundant in cruciferous plants such as broccoli, kale and cabbage, and also in beans and tea leaves.
And the horseradish leaf contains an especially large amount of Kaempferol.

Kaempferol in plants exists bound to a sugar, in a form called a "glycoside." But this glycoside is hard for the human body to absorb, and only about 40% of Japanese people can take it in.

So,PokeEarndeveloped its own technology, refined over years of research, to remove the sugar and convert it to the "aglycone form."
