Pro e-racers Goto, TakuAn, and Souki Nabetani pursue their own results while continuing to devote themselves to growing the scene. In this second part, they talk about their methods for delivering performance and conditioning, their impressions of "PokeEarn," a product that makes use of oxygen and which they call "a welcome presence for us," and the future the team and each racer are aiming for.
This article was produced by editing an interview we commissioned after providing a pre-release test sample of "PokeEarn" from our company.

Boosting race performance
Building condition in body and mind
The three raise themselves through practice, compete in high-pressure events, and also pour effort into streaming and work. When asked about the keys to delivering performance and conditioning, diet and sleep came up first.
Nabetani: "The staff cafeteria at my workplace serves nutritionally balanced meals, which really helps. Outside of that, I try to eat plenty of vegetables."
TakuAn: "I'm careful about sleep, which directly affects performance. Before overseas trips, I adjust my practice and sleep to local time to counter jet lag."
Goto also says that in e-motorsports, "physical condition matters too."
Goto: "Since we operate a wheel controller with our hands and feet, the physical demands are greater than in other eSports. I take care of my body too, like stretching in between sessions."
TakuAn: "For me the mental side determines my performance, so I'm careful about keeping my motivation up. Something I've been trying lately is deliberately creating time away from gaming. I'm still analyzing it, but I'll keep trying various things to find ways to maintain motivation and refresh."

PokeEarn is
A welcome presence for an e-racer
The three, who put themselves in tough environments both physically and mentally, take "PokeEarn," a product containing the plant-derived ingredient Kaempferol that makes use of oxygen. How did they feel when they first learned about the product?
Nabetani: "I was surprised by the idea of making use of what's already there rather than supplementing from outside."
TakuAn: "I got excited by the unique concept of making use of oxygen."
The three, who work on conditioning through diet, sleep, and physical and mental care, say they feel "PokeEarn" supports them before playing and at moments when they want to push hard or when it really counts.
TakuAn: "When my condition is good I can get deeply immersed in practice, and in my case I also feel 'PokeEarn' supports my rest."
Goto: "In our world, a 0.1-second gap in the braking point decides victory or defeat. If you don't maintain your condition, you can't keep that 0.1 second consistent. 'PokeEarn,' which supports my condition, is a welcome presence."
The taste and ease of taking it are also part of what they rate highly.
Nabetani: "No matter how good the ingredients are, you won't keep it up if it tastes hard to take, but 'PokeEarn' is really delicious, so it's easy to keep taking."
TakuAn: "'PokeEarn' is tasty and easy to take, so I find myself reaching for it before resting for conditioning too."

To win, and for quality of life.
Hopes placed on PokeEarn
The three say they want to keep taking "PokeEarn" going forward.
Goto: "My challenge right now is that I'm not fully putting my own condition to use in races. By keeping my state up with things like taking 'PokeEarn,' I want to explore various ways to connect that condition to results."
Nabetani: "I expect that taking 'PokeEarn' will support me in delivering my true performance at events. When I'm in good shape, I can face the real thing with confidence. Beyond racing, I also have hopes for the overall quality of my daily life."
They also want to recommend "PokeEarn" to fellow Pro e-racers and people who enjoy racing games.
Nabetani: "The 'research,' like reviewing others' replays and experimenting with my own driving, is quite demanding. It's work that's influenced by physical and mental condition, so I'd recommend it to people who want to immerse themselves in that kind of research."
TakuAn: "I feel it supports my rest, so I'd recommend it by asking, how about resting properly and then delivering your performance?"
And TakuAn said he wants to recommend it to his own partner as well.
TakuAn: "My girlfriend wants to make the most of her daily rest, so I hope 'PokeEarn' helps her spend each day feeling great."
We had each of them sum up "PokeEarn" in a word.
Goto: "Honestly I don't want to tell anyone. It's my advantage."
TakuAn: "A partner I can trust and feel at ease with. I think it will become an important part of my life going forward."
Nabetani: "A tablet for updating myself. I think it's a single pill that gives me the push to step into the next challenge."

The frenzy has only just begun.
As a team, and as athletes
What is the ideal vision of the future?
When asked about their ideal future for "KANTO Motor School SCARZ," the three said in unison, "a team that is admired."
Goto: "Delivering solid results is the baseline, but the element of being 'admired' matters too. I want to build a team that energizes the e-motorsports world from its very center and that younger generations look up to as a goal."
Lately you hear of e-racers switching to real motorsports driving, but the three have no such intention.
TakuAn: "I feel real value in succeeding in the world of e-motorsports, where anyone can aim to go pro, rather than real motorsports, which only a limited number of people can enter."
Finally, we asked each of them about the future they envision as racers.
TakuAn: "The rise of e-motorsports has only just begun. I want to contribute more to the scene's growth and become a racer who can give people big dreams."
Nabetani: "I want to perform, and carry myself, in a way that makes me a goal for many people, like the pro gamers I looked up to."
Goto: "I want to race in a way that makes people, especially those in their teens, feel they want to try e-motorsports and that it's worth throwing themselves into. Thanks for your support!"
